Table of contents

Accessories in Phantom Blade Zero are passive bonuses that shape your build. AllThings. How lists 66 of them in three groups: Offensive, Support and Defensive. Below we explain how slots work and pick out the accessories that the sources and their effects make stand out. The full sortable list is on our accessories database.

How accessory slots work

According to AllThings.How:

  • You start with three accessory slots.
  • The Boundless Capacity upgrade unlocks the other three, for six in total.
  • You can equip at most three accessories from the same category.

That last rule means a pure damage build cannot stack six offensive accessories. You will always want some support or defensive picks.

Best for learning combat

  • Reflex Device (Weeping Creek Valley, Valley Sha-Chi Tower Base): +15% parry and perfect dodge windows. On top of the difficulty-based windows described in difficulty modes explained, this is the most beginner-friendly accessory in the game.
  • Shenji's Ring (Weeping Creek Valley, Outpost): −20% Sha-Chi cost when blocking. games.gg recommends it for the Gold-Masked One duels.
  • Resonance Talisman (Bai Chilian drop): +15% Sha-Chi. Also recommended for the pillar duels.

Best offensive picks

  • Counterstrike Bracers (first Lóng Pillar): +20% damage for 2 seconds after a parry. Perfect for a parry-heavy style.
  • Remnant Spark Cube (Pangzhen, Myst's Tavern): +12% damage for all Phantom Edges.
  • Quick Hand Might / Pair / Pendant: +10% damage for two-handed, dual-wielded or one-handed weapons. The first two are bought from Quick Hand Zhang for 30,000 Remnant Dust each; the Pendant is in the Thieves' Camp. See Quick Hand Zhang's requests.
  • Dance Fan (Pangzhen, Myst's Tavern): damage grows with distance travelled during the attack, up to +40%.
  • Feather Fan Plume (Mirage Estate): +20% Ice, Fire and Lightning damage.
  • Desperate Stand (Mountain of Imprisonment): up to +25% damage as HP drops. Risky but strong.

Best defensive picks

  • Jewel's Knot (Village of Lu, Crossroads chest): +15% HP. Simple and always useful.
  • Boulderguard (Weeping Creek Valley): −15% damage taken while not Guard-Broken.
  • Miraculous Scabbard (second Lóng Pillar): Super Armor and −25% damage for 2 seconds after a weapon switch. It pairs well with the swap-heavy play style described in our beginner build.
  • Battleforged (Meigu Lake): immunity to the next hit after 10 seconds without taking damage.
  • Elemental wards: Flameward, Frostward and Thunderward each halve one element. PCGamesN recommends an elemental-reduction accessory for the Blizzard Blademaster; Frostward is the obvious fit.

Best support picks

  • Livingwood Talisman (Village of Lu): bleed and lifesteal at 50% effectiveness against puppets, Phantoms and Golden Bodies. games.gg notes polishing raises it to 70%.
  • Treasure Basin (Meigu Lake chest; also a pre-order bonus): +10% Remnant Dust. Wear it while exploring; see Remnant Dust farming.
  • Wraith Mask (Mirage Estate; PCGamesN lists it as Qiu Feng's drop): Ghoststep spawns three attacking masks.
  • Nuo Mask and Fine Thread: strong for summon-based Phantom Edge builds.

Sample setups

  • Learning: Reflex Device, Shenji's Ring, Jewel's Knot.
  • Parry offence (six slots): Counterstrike Bracers, Quick Hand pick for your weapon, Remnant Spark Cube, Reflex Device, Resonance Talisman, Miraculous Scabbard.
  • Exploration: Treasure Basin, Jewel's Knot, Medicine Case.
